about

CD Limited to 300 copies
Packaged in a 6-panel A5 folder with soft-touch finish

Watch your step when you get close to the Black Pile; It’s the bile that is human overproduction and the dance of slimey short rewards.
Be careful when you dig into the Black Pile; you will find the sinkhole that lies under all the shopping you did today.
Weigh your step, you don’t need to be this heavy! You already carry the weight of the dust of stars within you, how much heavier could you ever be?
Dance wildly wide-eyed. Open Pandora’s pile and embrace the illusory nature of a supposed reality.
You were never meant to not be hungry, you were not born to be comfortable.
Carry your light within! Cut loose the weights and tread lightly up the black mountain, the sky greets you there!

‘The Black Pile’ is an intense 37-minute trance, starting of as a slowly progressing meditative soundscape that radically changes into a raw ritualistic inferno fueled by social criticism and discontentment. Without a doubt one of TZII’s finest recordings, it will leave you bewildered, forcing you to rethink your life and habits, who you are and what you should be.

Since 1996 TZII has been spreading his magickal corrosive frequencies all over the world by touring from Europe to Australia, passing by the USA, Canada, Japan and Africa, where he played hundreds of shows, spreading cinematic ambient and raw electronic anger. A mountain of multiple figures...

Based in Brussels, he co-founded the V-ATAK collective/dvd label; a crew limitlessly raping your eyes and ears at multimedias festivals worldwide. He is one half of Solar Skeletons and several other bands such as MS30 (“T.I.A.” 2lp/cd, Silken Tofu).

As a multi-skilled artist he works also for dance companies, living performances, movie soundtracks and any other mediums with sound inside.

With ‘The Black Pile’, TZII presents his 2nd release for Silken Tofu, after the ‘Individualism’ EP (2009).
